What an honor it has been to serve as President of the Lake Hopatcong Chapter of ACBS for the past two years. It was during my term as President that we celebrated our 50th anniversary as the Lake Hopatcong Antique Boat Club, our 50th year of boat shows, and the 50th anniversary of the Antique and Classic Boat Society. We combined them all into a fabulous 50th Anniversary Celebration. It was on the shores of Lake Hopatcong, the Byram Cove home of H. Drayton Mook, where our club was born. It was only fitting that our 50-year celebration be held at Lee’s Park, on the shores of Lake Hopatcong.
