The Capitol City Old Car Club (CCOCC) is a non-profit organization serving Mid-Michigan vehicle enthusiasts. The CCOCC was established in 1962, from the dreams of about a dozen car enthusiasts whose backgrounds included an auto historian, an engineering student, and a car builder that got together to talk about obtaining parts and exchanging ideas. The club is incorporated by the state of Michigan, with headquarters in the Lansing area. The purpose of the club is to encourage an interest in antique, classic, and special interest automobiles; to exhibit such vehicles at car shows, cruise-ins and civic events; to exchange information and ideas on acquisition, preservation, restoration and exhibition of these vehicles and to promote fellowship among persons with such interests. The CCOCC accepts all vehicle enthusiasts with or without an “old car”. The common interest leads to excellent camaraderie, and most club activities are family oriented.
