Blackdog Speed Shop in Lincolnshire welcomes us back to their state-of-the-art 25,000sf facility. They have sales, service, restoration and racing teams that compete in IMSA. This is their third year as a sponsor of PCA Chicago, so let’s show them some love with a massive turnout!! This year we will be holding an OKTOBERFEST SOCIAL with food & music and a SHOW ’n SHINE and CONCOURS as a single large event, so come on out and enjoy the fun! Event is on Rain or Shine!! Plenty of room inside if there is rain!! OKTOBERFEST SOCIAL with a Food Truck with great food FOR PURCHASE. Beverages-beer, soda, water and more…included with your registration and payment. There is special parking for Concours and Show ‘n Shine participants. “Just Socializing” participants, please park angled on the street. That way there is room for all!! Special parking will be set aside for Show ‘n Shine and Concours participants. The Show ‘n Shine and Concours are open to Porsches only. Schedule for OKTOBERFEST and the Show ‘n Shine and Concours Event begins / Registration opens at 11am. Food Truck with Food For PURCHASE open 11am to 3pm. Register by 12:30pm Judges meeting: 12:30pm Towels down /Judging begins at 12:45pm. Awards at 3:00 pm. Register at clubregistration.net We would like to encourage you to sign up for our Show ‘n Shine competition. It is an easy way to enjoy and show your Porsche. All you need to do is clean the outside of your Porsche, (body, glass, wheels & tires) and you are ready to participate. Judging is simple and based on the Cleanliness only of the exterior of your car. 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded in all Show ‘n Shine groups. All attendees can vote for the People’s Choice Award. Every level is welcome. If you have never participated in Concours before, this fun and informal Show ‘n Shine event is a great way to learn the ins and outs of Concours. Ready for more?? Step up to Concours. Our Concours competition consists of three classes all judged on the basis of the Cleanliness and Condition of the car. Concours has three separate competitive classes where additional areas of the car are judged for cleanliness and condition. In order from bottom to top; Street Class: Exterior and Interior Touring Class: Exterior, Interior and Storage Grand Touring Class: Exterior, Interior, Storage, Engine or Chassis These classes are a pathway to help you best learn about the preparation and preservation of your Porsche for competition at the Regional Level or at the National Porsche Parade.
