Join us on Saturday August 29 for the James River Driving Tour and Picnic sponsored by SVBCC with a special invitation to RTR members (Richmond Triumph Registry) and Central Virginia British Car Club (CVBCC). We will meet by 12:00 noon at the James River State Park in Shelter #5 for a car community picnic.
For those who would like a Road Tour, we will be gathering at 10:00AM at the Walmart lot at Zion Crossroad (at the intersection of I-64 and Rte 15) east of Charlottesville for a 2 hour self-paced drive over scenic and seriously wild (but paved) country roads that twist and wind near the James River. SVBCC has reserved a Shelter (#5) at the James River State Park where we will picnic and enjoy lovely views across the James.
Pack a picnic lunch, gas up your LBC (or whatever you prefer) and have a fun drive and a day out with your friends and fellow gear heads. If you haven’t been out and about yet this Summer, then this is the drive you don’t want to miss! The park shelter can accommodate covered seating for at least 80 people so this will be a rain or shine event (but sun is forecast!)
