DRIVE TO CRIPPLE CREEK

July 22nd drive from Denver to Cripple Creek, followed by lunch at Cripple Creek’s The District Restaurant Meeting Location: Ken Caryl Park-N-Ride, 7450 S Shaffer Ln, Littleton Meet Time: 9:00 am, Wheels up at 9:15 am Dining Location: The District Host: Judy Gordon We have finally reached the awaited time to drive to Cripple Creek, where the inaugural Colorado Z Fest will be held. We are just a couple of weeks away from a drive that will definitely “elevate” your driving experiences to a new Colorado high! Motorists will enjoy a drive through Deckers, Colorado, a scenic mountain destination famed for world-class trout fishing on the South Platte River, rugged granite-canyon hiking, and serene views of Pike National Forest. Our drive will conclude at the Chamonix Casino Hotel’s self-parking garage. The elegant Chamonix is the destination for those intending to stay for the FIRST Colorado Z Fest! After lunch at The District Restaurant, drivers are welcome to check into the Fest, or just enjoy Cripple Creek for the afternoon before driving back home!
