Route 66 is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026, marking a century since the legendary 2,400-mile highway from Chicago to Santa Monica was first approved and named on April 30, 1926.
AZM Region is joining the celebration with a drive on the historic highway, visits to the legendary towns and an overnight in Lake Havasu City. Register now HERE.

Wednesday, September 23:
Verde Valley/Sedona members meet at 7:00 am for a 7:15 am departure from Basha’s Market at 160 Coffee Pot Drive just off 89a in Sedona.
Flagstaff members meet at 8:00 am for an 8:15 am departure from Swift Travel Center at 3099 W Shamrell Blvd. in Flagstaff. We will connect with the Verde Valley/Sedona participants then meet with others from Prescott etc. in Ash Fork as described below.
All other members can meet in Ash Fork at 9:00 am or join us enroute. In Ash Fork we will meet at the Ranch House Café at 83 W Park Ave for a driver’s meeting. It’s on the north-west corner of I-40 and US 89 exit. Going west on I40, take Exit 146. Proceed on to Lewis Ave., then left on 1st, then left on Park. There is a Shell service station. Meet the group at Ranch House Cafe’. We will depart from Ranch House Cafe’ at approximately 9:15 am.

10:00-12:30 pm Stops will include but are not limited to Road Kill Cafe in Seligman, Peach Springs, Hackberry General Store and Giganticus Headicus.
12:30 Lunch in Kingman at the Dunbar Steakhouse
1:45 depart for Oatman
4:15 depart Oatman for Lake Havasu City
6:00 dinner at Angelina’s Italian Kitchen located at 1530 El Camino Drive, Lake Havasu City. The club will have its own section and participants will order off the menu and each party can pay on their own.

Holiday Inn Express Lake Havasu City, 40 London Bridge Road
A block of twelve rooms is being held at the Holiday Inn Express in Lake Havasu City. They are held under “AZ Mountain Region Porsche Club”. They will hold the rooms until September 9th, 2026 so everyone who wants a room will need to call and get it booked by then. The number to call is 928-733-6388.
