Please join us for a drive along the beautiful St Johns River and Atlantic coast on Saturday, July 25th. Following the drive, we will gather at Billy Jacks BBQ restaurant for our monthly meeting and lively BMW discussions. We will start our drive at the Gate Gas Station parking lot (at I-295 and Heckscher Dr) drive along Heckscher Drive following the St Johns River past Mayport, and then continue on A1A along the Atlantic coast to southAmelia Island . There we will have an interim stop at the Amelia Island State Park (9550 First Coast Hwy in Fernandina Beach) to turn around and take some photos. We will then double back along A1A to Billy Jacks BBQ restaurant for an early lunch.
We are requesting that everyone participating in the drive arrives at the meeting point, the Gate Gas Station parking lot, by 9:30 am. We will be departing the Gate parking lot for our drive promptly at 9:45 am after our driver’s meeting.
Attendees who don’t want to participate in the drive, but would still like to get together for our monthly meeting and lunch, can meet the group at Billy Jacks BBQ restaurant at 10:30 am.
Please ensure complete your RSVP below. Additionally, everyone participating in the drive needs to sign the appropriate on-line waiver, including passengers. Waivers are not needed if you are only participating in the lunch/meeting. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, July 25th!
