Pinetree Jamboree

A beloved event enters a new chapter at OHTM. In partnership with Eli, Lisa, Alden, and Isaac English of Traditional Speed and Custom, LLC, the Pine Tree Jamboree returns as a one-of-a-kind celebration of craftsmanship, culture, and automotive history. Guests can enjoy racing, food, and experience the art of historic photography with Troy R. Bennett of The Mystery Jig Tintypes.  Celebrate the early days of vintage racing. Spotlighting hand-built cars, backyard ingenuity, and flathead-powered machines, this moving history event brings together racers, families, and enthusiasts to share camaraderie, community, and a passion for learning by doing on and off the track. Purchase Tickets Here Schedule of events: Thursday, September 10 – PTJ Arrival  9:00 AM – Racer & Camper Welcome & Check-In Opens 10:00 AM – Owls Head Transportation Museum Opens 2:30 PM – Reliability Run to Mount Battie Auto Road, Camden Hills State Park, Maine Friday, September 11 6:00 AM  Cafe Opens for breakfast 7:30 AM Reliability Run to Wiscasset, Waterville, & Farmington Narrow Gauge Steam Railroad  Racer & Camper Welcome & Check-In Continues 10:00 AM – Museum Opens with access to exhibits and interactive experiences all day. Activities include: Swap Meet, Biplane Rides, Teeter-Totter Challenge, Interactive Exhibits 12:00 PM – Pit Road Opens 1:00  PM – Tech Inspection & Time Trials Start 5:00  PM – Time Trials End *Guests will be required to exit the museum as we switch over to the Welcome Party. 6:00  PM – PTJ Welcome Party Welcome Party: A Night of Comedy Kick off Pine Tree Jamboree with an evening of live music, laughs, and great company at the official Welcome Party on Friday, September 11 at the Owls Head Transportation Museum. The evening begins with live music from Clyde Bisbee & The Wheelhouse Revelers from 6:00–7:30 PM, followed by a comedy show featuring Jimmy Dunn,  Tony V, and Mitch Stinson beginning at 7:30 PM. A cash bar and food will be available throughout the evening.
