One of Shell Lake’s favorite traditions is back! Town & Country Days returns over Labor Day Weekend, bringing a full lineup of family fun, community events, live entertainment, and classic small-town celebration to the heart of Shell Lake.
From longtime locals to first-time visitors, Town & Country Days is the kind of event that brings people together and captures everything there is to love about summer in the Northwoods. Throughout the weekend, downtown Shell Lake and the surrounding community will come alive with activity, offering something for all ages to enjoy.
Visitors can expect a packed schedule filled with exciting events and beloved traditions. Crowd favorites like the Tractor Pull, Garden Tractor Pull, and Truck Pull bring plenty of action and energy to the weekend, while the Car, Truck & Bike Show gives visitors a chance to admire classic and custom rides. Families can cheer on participants during the Lake Run, 5K, and Kids’ 40-Yard Dash, or watch kids test their strength during the always-fun Kids’ Pedal Pull.
The celebration also includes the beloved Kiddie & Grand Parades, bringing festive floats, community spirit, and plenty of candy-filled excitement to downtown Shell Lake. Visitors can browse handmade goods and local treasures at the Arts & Crafts Fair, enjoy lakeside action during the Sailing Regatta, or grab a seat for a few rounds of Bingo.
And of course, no Town & Country Days weekend would be complete without great food. From local food booths serving up festival favorites to the popular Fly-In/Drive-In Pancake Breakfast, there are plenty of ways to fuel up while enjoying the festivities.
