FSC/ZSCCA 2026 Aug Mystery Fun Drive & Lunch (Zolfo Springs)

Join us on Saturday, August 8th for a fun drive on some local farm roads, including some of the twistiest roads in Florida; lunch at the Pioneer Restaurant  and an optional afternoon drive after lunch. We will depart from Racetrac Gas Station (I-75, Exit 164 – 6090 Duncan Rd in Punta Gorda; this drive will be lead by Rich Rausser. 9:15 AM – Driver’s Meeting 9:30 AM – Departure We will wrap up the 2 hour morning drive with lunch at the famous Pioneer Restaurant in Zolfo Springs, Florida, a real deal, old-time, family owned restaurant. This is home cooking at its best. The walls have family photos and hand-lettered signs on them. Menus are hand printed and the restaurant is CASH ONLY. After lunch there will be an optional 2.5 hour drive taking us through the area of Lake Placid, continuing southwest through several fun, twisty roads, ending at RaceTrac, 12050 Palm Beach Blvd in Fort Myers (I-75 exit 141 east). This drive will be lead by Anthony Forte. Let us know if you’ll meet us for the drive and lunch, or just the lunch. Driving waivers will be provided at the drivers meeting.
