About This Event
Hello Everyone!
I got a sneak peek at Stephen’s Garage and workshops, and wow, it’s amazing! If you’re curious about any of the technical skills mentioned below, you’ll definitely love this tour! Stephen is such a great presenter—he’ll keep the talks super interesting. His main goal is to share and teach his skills with anyone who’s interested. We’re so lucky to have someone like him!
This tour will take you to his huge garages, where you’ll see some cool sporty cars, and you’ll also get to explore his various workshops, which include:
Full-size machinery shop
Clockwork and micro machinery shop
Sewing/leatherworks shop
Woodworking shop
Automotive shop, impressive collection of various sporty cars,
featuring four lifts and his vehicle collection.
Tour of his remodeled home (optional)
Stephen’s Story (by Stephen)
“Looking back 40 years, I was deeply involved in restoring cars, but I realized I might never retire if I kept funding my car hobby. I sold off six or seven cars, keeping the 69 XKE, and focused on clocks, which I found I enjoyed working on. Clocks became a real business just as I was about to be bought out from my day job. As part of the clock business, I developed the skills to restore clock cases and other parts —from creating new parts to faux finishing to make parts that perfectly matched.
Then somehow, I found I could afford to get back into cars, likely because I started day trading. A few more years passed, and the original garage was full, even with two lifts, and my wife suggested it was time for another garage and more lifts. She was right. And now the new garage is also full.”
Come join us to welcome our new ORPCA member, Stephen, his wife Kelly, and tour his updated home, shops, garage, and vehicle collection.
Please register online, opening for 10-15 cars. Please call me if you have any questions.
